Christopher J. MacGillis is a partner at MacGillis Wiemer, LLC. Chris focuses his practice on personal injury, labor/employment, family, and other civil litigation, including employment discrimination and First Amendment retaliation cases. Chris also represents clients on appeal in both state and federal court.
Chris also has experience in litigating cases involving the improper release of mental health records under Wisconsin Chapter 51 and records under Wisconsin's Open Records Law.
Chris earned his J.D., cum laude, from Marquette University Law School. Prior to entering law school, Chris received his B.A. in Economics from Lawrence University. While at Lawrence, Chris was a member of the men's basketball team, serving as team captain and earning all-academic and all-conference honors.
Chris' experiences in and out of the courtroom have made him a skilled communicator and trial lawyer. Chris takes pride in diligently preparing for his cases and passionately pursuing his clients' interests. Chris' goal is to obtain justice for each of his clients.
Outside of the office, Chris is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys fishing and hunting with his dog, Rooney. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Ann, daughter, Grace, and son, Owen.
