William (“Will”) W. Lundquist concentrates his practice in the areas of products liability, mass tort litigation, and the representation of insureds in first party insurance claims. His practice areas include experience in complex, multidistrict, and class action litigation, as well as representing clients in numerous individual cases in both state and federal court.
In early 2009, Will actively participated in negotiations on behalf of the entire policyholder bar in the drafting and presentation of the case management and discovery orders, which currently govern the large majority of Hurricane Ike disputes pending in Galveston County, Harris County, and Brazoria County. In this regard, Will has received continued recognition for his efforts within his practice areas, being named a Texas Rising Star (a Thomson Reuters service) in 2008, 2011, 2012 and 2013 – an honor bestowed on less than three percent of the lawyers practicing in Texas, which recognizes the top Texas lawyers age 40 or younger.
Prior to joining Clark, Love & Hutson, Will spent the first six years of his practice defending insurance companies in numerous cases involving bad faith insurance claims and unfair settlement practices at Bracewell & Giuliani LLP, one of the largest and most well-respected law firms in the country. He also represented several Fortune 500 companies in complex commercial litigation and business disputes.
