James M. West, attorney of the former law firm, Martin & West, PLLC, is pleased to announce the new name of the firm in Edgewood, Kentucky: The Law Office of James M. West. West focuses his practice on civil and criminal litigation. He has extensive experience in personal injury law as he has represented many of the top insurance companies during his 20 plus year career. More recently, he has continued to expand his practice to include personal injury plaintiffs’ cases along with felony criminal defense cases in federal and state court.
West graduated Cum Laude in 1992 from Salmon P. Chase College of Law. Prior to that he received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics in ‘89 from Centre College, where he also played NCAA Division III football.
West co-founded and is actively involved in a non-profit organization (Check Your Genes). The organization was formed because multiple members of his family died from hereditary breast and ovarian cancer.
