As a child, Christina Davis spent most of her time reading to nourish her love of learning. While she did not always aspire to become an attorney, she found that as she matriculated through school that the law provided many opportunities to study new things, which in turn fed her intellectual curiosity. Christina knew that the field of law would be ever-changing and thus, her career would be in a constant state of change that would cater to her love of knowledge and provide the opportunity for excitement in what would otherwise be a monotonous environment.
Christina Davis (nee Tinsey) attended the University of Michigan, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Psychology. Her two combined degrees proved vital to her immediate enrollment into the Juris Doctor program at Wayne State University Law School. The manipulation of language and her ability to analyze human decision-making were an essential asset to building a bridge between her academic background and legal studies.
While attending law school, Christina served on the Executive Board of the Student Trial Advocacy Program. She also worked as a Student Attorney at the Free Legal Aid Clinic in Detroit, Michigan. In 2000, Christina traveled to London in order to fulfill her interest in International Criminal Law and took part of a program through the Notre Dame Law School to study Comparative and International Law.
Since graduation from law school, Christina has worked exclusively in the field of personal injury, with nearly a decade of experience in police misconduct, civil rights, Michigan no-fault insurance, automobile negligence, and premises liability claims. With a significant amount of her litigation experience devoted to police brutality, it is clear that Christina is a leading protagonist in this particular field. Her exposure to such a specific area of practice encouraged her gravitation toward joining the team at Romano Law. She knew that her goal as an attorney would be met: to be a voice and seek justice for the most vulnerable members of our society.
Christina is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan and to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
She resides in metro Detroit with her husband and rescue dog Moxie. She is active in animal rescue organizations and enjoys traveling, reading and has a very green thumb in the garden—not to be confused with who she roots for at Michigan football games.
