Allison S. Lovelady focuses primarily on intellectual property, civil litigation, appellate and media law disputes. Allison has a wide array of experience litigating and counseling clients in licensing and entertainment matters.
Allison is very active in the local community. She is a member of the Broward County Bar Association, Emerge Broward, The Young Lawyer Division and the Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law Section of The Florida Bar, and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Art & Culture Center of Hollywood, Florida.
Allison graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. from the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida. She received her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she was an Editorial Board member of the esteemed ILSA Journal of International & Comparative Law. Allison was also a finalist of the 2008 Broward County Women Lawyer's Association Rising Star Award, and was the recipient of the 2009 Nova Law Bar Scholarship. Allison regularly speaks at legal symposiums and CLE events around South Florida, including the annual NSU Sports and Entertainment Law Symposium, Broward County Bar CLE, and the NSU Intellectual Property Law Society.
Originally from Central Florida, Allison is licensed to practice in Florida, before the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida and Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. In 2012, Allison was selected as a Rising Star in the Florida Super Lawyers magazine.
