The office practice includes estate planning and administration, family practice, and real estate practice. I practiced as a solo for several years and incorporated the practice in 1983.
I served as deputy prosecuting attorney under Prosecutor Thomas Roemer between 1963 and 1966. I was assigned to Superior Court No. 1 and handled all criminal practice in that court, including trial of many felony cases. After my term as deputy prosecuting attorney, I ran for Prosecutor in 1966. I was not successful and lost to William Voor.
I represented the Area Plan Commission for its first thirty years. It was established by William Mills, who died shortly after the Commission was established. I was retained and essentially was its only attorney until 1997. I was involved in preparation and the necessary steps for adoption of the first Planning Ordinance and general plans for zoning areas for St. Joseph County and in establishing and writing the ordinances for such “time savers” as the Plat Committee.
I hold AV designation (highest peer review evaluation by local attorneys) through Martindale-Hubbell.
My office associate, Spring Mary Zmudzinski, Esq. has been with me in one capacity or another since the summer between her junior and senior years of high school. She was admitted to practice in Indiana in 1991 and has been employed by me ever since then.
