Mr. Watkins is an attorney in the San Francisco office where he specializes in antitrust, employment law and consumer class actions. Mr. Watkins has extensive litigation and trial experience in both state and federal courts. From 1991 to 1998, Mr. Watkins served as a trial attorney for the United States Department of Justice Civil Rights Division, litigating a wide variety of individual and class-wide employment discrimination cases and also prosecuting criminal civil rights cases involving racial violence and police brutality. He also served as an Adjunct Instructor of Legal Research and Writing at the George Washington University Law School. Mr. Watkins has more a decade of experience litigating class actions and was co-lead counsel in Feuerabend v. United States Tobacco Co. et al, (Wis. Cir. Ct.), an antitrust class action that resulted in a settlement valued at $65 million, one of the largest class action settlements ever in the State of Wisconsin.
