Mr. Leyendecker specializes in intellectual property law including the procurement of United States patents for individual inventors and small entrepreneurial companies. Kurt has an Engineering degree from the University of Illinois and a law degree from the University of Denver. He has practiced law at two national law firms with prestigious patent law groups. Further, prior to founding Leyendecker Lemire and Daley, LLC, he had a successful solo practice.
Prior to becoming a patent lawyer, Kurt was a practicing engineer with two Fortune 100 companies. He was integrally involved in the fabrication of several NASA spacecraft, and pursued several Research and Development projects related to the use of non-metallic materials in space launch vehicles and aircraft. In the early nineties, Kurt founded the Denver Bicycle Design Center, a company that produced high end Mountain Bicycle components of his invention and design.
