Chris Lewis is well known in the legal community as a criminal defense lawyer who gets results. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Evangel University with a double major in Government and Psychology, Chris attended Baylor University School of Law, earning a law degree with a Criminal Law Concentration. Upon graduating from law school, Chris began his legal career as an assistant district attorney. He prosecuted criminal cases in Harris, Williamson and Dallas counties before transitioning to a civil litigation practice. From 2000-2004, Chris worked for one of the largest civil trial law firms in Texas representing large corporations in lawsuits across the State of Texas. In addition to litigation matters, Chris defended clients accused of various misdemeanor and felony offenses in Dallas and around the state.
Chris, a four year starter and all-conference football player in college, spent several years working as a sports agent. Certified by the National Football Players’ Association and registered by the Texas Secretary of State, Chris represented NFL, CFL and AFL players in contract negotiations.
Since 2004, Chris’ practice has been devoted exclusively to defending people whose lives have been turned upside down by criminal accusations.
