Lesaganich, John

Rebecca was raised in Ellicott City, Maryland and has lived in the Philadelphia area for the past 15 years. While in law school, Rebecca clerked for a local civil defense litigation firm. After graduation, Rebecca continued practicing civil defense litigation at a large firm in Center City where she represented physicians and hospitals in malpractice cases and other matters. Prior to coming to Post and Post, Rebecca served as Associate General Counsel for The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where she worked extensively with physicians and other clinicians in litigation matters. While at CHOP, Rebecca gained experience with general liability, workers compensation and commercial litigation matters. She also gained experience formulating and drafting hospital policies, and delivered multiple presentations regarding medical malpractice, changes in the law and other issues related to hospital practice.

Rebecca graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 1994 with a bachelors degree in History. Rebecca also has a masters degree in Health Care Administration from the University of Michigan which she received in 1996. In 2000, Rebecca graduated from the Villanova University School of Law where she was co-president of the Health Law Society.

Rebecca is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is admitted to practice before the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
