Lynn Lee is an expert in the setup and leading of product development and project management teams. Her specific expertise is in defining product roadmaps, product/marketing requirements (PRD/MRD), strategic planning and setting priorities per engineering resources. She has experience in the management and operations of cost-negotiations and suppliers such as domestic IC silicon markers and foreign ODM/OEM/JDM vendors.
Technology: Ms. Lee has experience working on patents involving the following technologies: multiple antenna cluster, auto discovery/configuration of a wireless network, multiple-language support, power adapter, network attached storage link, distributed wireless security monitoring (DWSM) technology, integrated hybrid multiplexing mechanisms, automatic functional defect detection and performance bottleneck discovery in network devices and method and apparatus for controlling content within a network.
Product Development: Additionally, Ms. Lee worked as the Director of Product Development for Cisco Systems for 7 years. While there, Ms. Lee developed specs/features and product requirements to create saleable and marketable products. She also researched and identified market requirements to ensure Cisco had the leading technological position in the market. Ms. Lee also gained experience negotiating pricing with suppliers and ensuring full compliance with all applicable standards. She has defined and planned the product roadmap of retail and small businesses from short term and long term strategy perspectives.
Achievements:
Led Linksys in the US retail market-share position from third to first.
First company to launch 4-port router into retail stores
Led a development team to be the first company to launch 802.11x wireless technology such as 802.11b and 802.11g.
First company to have web GUI design to configure routers in the world.
First company to introduce easy-to-use and easy-to-setup concepts into retail and home networking products such as setup wizard.
Built up the product development process and procedures based on ODM working models for Cisco such as the Navigator project for the co-brand model with China Telecom.
Designed a new product portfolio for the Small Business market which brought in $200 million in revenue within two years.
