Mr. Adkins' practice focuses upon insurance, commercial and energy litigation. Mr. Adkins' litigation practice includes a broad array of commercial and business disputes, as well as cases involving oilfield contamination, mineral landowner and lessee disputes, mineral regulatory issues and other aspects of oilfield litigation. He received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana Tech University (summa cum laude; Phi Kappa Phi) and his law degree from Louisiana State University, where he was a member of the Louisiana Law Review. He was admitted to practice in 1984 and joined the firm in 1988. Mr. Adkins has practiced in numerous state courts throughout the State of Louisiana and in all federal district courts, as well as having appeared before both the Louisiana Supreme Court and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
