New York Elder Law Attorney
Janna P. Visconti concentrates her practice in the areas of Trusts, Estates, Elder Law and Medicaid qualification. Her skills in these areas are augmented by extensive background in the areas of law and finance.
Mrs. Visconti is the current Co-Chair of The Suffolk County Bar Association Elder Law Committee. She is Vice President and serves on the Board of Directors of RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) and is Chair of RSVP's Strategic Planning Committee. RSVP is an organization dedicated to placing retired people in volunteer positions where they can contribute their skills and expertise to our community. She is a member of the Executive Board of the Senior Umbrella Network of Suffolk (SUNS), where she serves on the Scholarship as well as the Speakers and Program Committees. In 2008, she accepted a position on the Public Issues Committee of the Long Island Council of Churches. She is a frequent speaker on topics such as Elder Law, Medicaid, Estate Planning, and Asset Protection for Seniors. She has lectured on Elder Law throughout Long Island, including St. John's University, School of Law, and St. Joseph's College, and has been published in Suffolk Lawyer.
Mrs. Visconti is a Cum Laude graduate of St. John's University, School of Law, where she was a member of the Law Review. She also has a certificate of Geriatric Ministry from Stony Brook University, and she has been trained as a Guardian by the Suffolk County Bar Association.
Mrs. Visconti is admitted to the practice of law in New York State and in the State of Arizona.
