Dawn Van Wyk Takekawa is an associate at the firm. Dawn practices primarily in the areas of Divorce and Child Custody Matters. Dawn was a Root Law scholar and received her Juris Doctor degree with Honors from Drake University in 2007. While in law school Dawn served as a member of the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law and was employed as a law clerk for Farm Bureau Financial Services.

Dawn graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Kansas in May 2004. Dawn is a native of Ankeny, Iowa. In her free time Dawn enjoys spending time with her husband and family, traveling and reading.
