Ms. Laufer is admitted to practice in both New Jersey and New York and concentrates her practice in the area of Family Law, representing clients in all stages of Family Law and Domestic Violence Litigation. She also performs residential Real Estate closings and handles Municipal Court matters.
After obtaining her Juris Doctorate degree from Seton Hall Law School, Ms. Laufer served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Maureen P. Sogluizzo in the Superior Court of New Jersey in Hudson County, Family Division, and also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Richard C. Camp in the Superior Court of New Jersey in Essex County, Family Division. While in law school, Ms. Laufer volunteered as a student attorney for the Family Law Clinic where she represented clients in a variety of family law matters and made numerous court appearances. She was also the Senior Article Editor for the Seton Hall Law School Legislative Journal and won Best Brief in the Seton Hall Law Gressman Moot Court Competition.
Ms. Laufer is a member of New Jersey State Bar Association, the Morris County Bar Association, and the Northern New Jersey Family Law Inn of Court. She also volunteers for the Jersey Battered Women’s Services Inc.’s Battered Women’s Legal Advocacy Project and the Morris County Self Help Resource Center.
