Mr. Latsha is an attorney who has extensive experience in representing post-acute, assisted living, and continuing care providers. He is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, and is a past Vice Chair of AHLA’s Long Tern Care–Senior Housing, In-Home Care, and Rehabilitation (LTC-SIR) Practice Group. He currently serves on the AHLA Planning Committee for its annual LTC & The Law Conference. He has served as a course planner for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute for seminars on Long Term Care Law. He is a long standing member of the LeadingAge Legal Committee and recently served as its Chair. He has lectured and written on numerous topics affecting post-acute, assisted living and continuing-care providers. Mr. Latsha currently serves as LeadingAge PA’s General Counsel. He is a distinguished graduate of the Virginia Military Institute and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Latsha served as a prosecutor and as a Special Assistant United States Attorney while on active duty with the Judge Advocate General’s Corps, United States Army (1981-1984). He was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal at the conclusion of his active service. Following his three-year tour of active duty, Mr. Latsha served for five years in the United States Army Reserve. He has been awarded the AV® preeminent rating through the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating process attesting to the highest level of legal ability and ethics, and He also was selected by his peers as one of the Best Lawyers in Central Pennsylvania.
