Langdale, William P.

Ann Lamdin is a 1987 graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law where she was a member of the Order of the Coif and served on the Moot Court Board.

Following graduation from law school, Ann became an associate at Frank, Bernstein, Conaway & Goldman in Baltimore, Maryland. In 1992, Ann joined Piper & Marbury, L.L.P. (now DLA Piper, L.L.P.) and she was elected a partner in that firm in 1997.

In 1999, Ann joined Corbin, Schaffer & Aviles, located in Severna Park, MD, where she chairs the firm’s immigration practice group. She represents high-technology and start up businesses, as well as many major employers in the healthcare, banking, insurance, manufacturing and consulting industries.

Ann is recognized as an expert in her field, publishing many articles and chapters in immigration and employment-related publications and general access periodicals. Ann is a frequent presenter and participant in continuing legal education, professional seminars, and graduate and undergraduate level instruction.

In 1995, the American Immigration Lawyers Association awarded Ann its Joseph Minsky Young Lawyer award.  She has also been recognized as one of Baltimore's Best Lawyers by Baltimore Magazine.  She holds the highest possible peer rating for ethical standards and legal ability ("AV/Preeminent") from Martindale-Hubbell.

Annually since 2006, Ann has been selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2012 in the field of Immigration Law.  In 2012, Ann was selected as the Best Lawyers’ 2012 Baltimore Immigration Law Lawyer of the Year.   Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which more than 39,000 leading attorneys cast almost 3.1 million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their practice areas; lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed.
