Lande, Cynthia Boyle

Jennifer E. Tyler is an associate in Balch & Bingham's Atlanta office and a member of the Healthcare Practice Group. Jenny has assisted a wide variety of clients including: national hospital systems and individual hospitals (including public, private, rural, urban, tax-exempt and specialty); ambulatory surgery centers; end-stage renal disease facilities; hospice and home healthcare providers; physician practice groups and individual practitioners. Jenny has assisted these clients with a broad range of complex regulatory and transactional advice, including the following:

·         Certificate of Need applications, exemptions, oppositions and hearings;

·         Representation of licensed professionals before professional boards and societies;

·         Assistance with licensure agencies for both facilities and practitioners;

·         Medicare and Medicare reimbursement appeals;

·         Contracts and negotiations;

·         Stark, Anti-Kickback and other compliance reviews;

·         Medical Staff Bylaws;

·         Peer Review investigations and hearings;

·         HIPAA compliance advice, including drafting business associate agreements; and

·         Other general healthcare regulatory and transactional experience.

Jenny is a Georgia native, who received her Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University, and her juris doctorate from Mercer University's Walter F. Georgia School of Law. Jenny participates in numerous community activities, including serving on the Young Leadership Committee of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce Biosciences Leadership Council. Jenny and her husband Jason live in Smyrna, Georgia.
