Ms. Abbott is a former Assistant Public Defender for DeKalb County and for the City of Atlanta.She graduated from Georgia State University College of Law where, as legal intern, she was recruited specifically to assist in a death penalty case.She is a past President of the Georgia State Chapter of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Cobb County Bar Association.

Ms.Abbott has years of experience in all types of criminal cases, from traffic tickets to violent felonies.She is trained in DUI defense and the use (and abuse) of the lntoxilyzer 5000.
