Brian Lambert represents employers in a wide variety of labor and employment law matters. His litigation practice focuses on defense of employers in employment discrimination, retaliation, harassment, breach of contract, and employment-related tort cases. His litigation practice also includes representing employers in cases involving the misappropriation of trade secrets and confidential information, employee raiding, and violations of noncompete agreements. Representative clients in recent public matters include Verizon Business, IBM, Bridgestone/Firestone, Kaiser Aluminum, and Bank of America.
In addition, Brian advises employers regarding employment-related issues, including employee misconduct, wage and hour compliance, affirmative action, restrictive covenants, and other matters related to the hiring, retention, and termination of employees. His traditional labor practice includes representing employers in union organizing and unfair labor practice proceedings. Brian provides employment due diligence advice to corporate clients in purchase and sale transactions and frequently reviews and drafts noncompete agreements, executive employment contracts, company policies, and other employment-related documentation.
Brian is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the District of Columbia Bar Association, the Dallas Bar Association, and their respective labor and employment sections. He also serves on the board of trustees of St. Simon's After-School, a nonprofit organization that provides after-school programs to approximately 350 low-income students in local school districts.
