Larry LaPorte's practice focuses on intellectual property law and litigation for a wide variety of high-technology clients. Larry's litigation experience includes patent, trademark, trade secret, antitrust, unfair competition, and contract cases in areas including electronic design automation tools, semiconductors, microelectronic circuits for television signal processing, automotive technology, aviation technology, biotechnology, and software. Larry is licensed to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the United States Patent and Trademark Office, all of the federal courts in California, and the International Trade Commission. Larry has assisted clients in obtaining and enforcing intellectual property rights, domestically and in foreign jurisdictions, and his litigation experience includes extensive preliminary injunction practice, summary judgment practice, and trial and appellate work.
