Julie Trepeck is an Owner and Partner of Trepeck Bane, P.C., d/b/a Chicago Debt Solutions.
Ms. Trepeck started her own firm to make a greater impact on the lives of people struggling with debt. Julie understands the needs of someone facing bankruptcy, and always displays a great deal of compassion and professionalism. She believes the bankruptcy laws provide a great justice to those seeking financial relief and uses her extensive knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code to represent her clients. Julie has encountered a variety of issues while practicing bankruptcy, always facing the issues head on with each case she conducts.
Ms. Trepeck has assisted thousands of people in all stages of debt solution and works effectively to advocate for each and every one of her clients. She has consulted individuals and business owners to get a fresh start or reorganize their financial lives.
Prior to starting Chicago Debt Solutions, Julie worked for a boutique law firm that assisted clients with bankruptcy, debt settlement, real estate, divorce, and general litigation. She focused primarily in the bankruptcy sector with the filing of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases. Julie began her legal career with the largest bankruptcy firm in the country, eventually becoming one of the managing attorneys for the Chicago office. As part of the managing team, Julie helped lead the education and training of new associates, and created more efficient processes and representation for the firm and clients. Just after law school, she formed Foreclosure Associates, LLC where she worked on behalf of homeowners, with mortgage companies in a effort to save peoples' homes from foreclosure, through loan modifications or forbearance.
Ms. Trepeck graduated from the University of Michigan receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with Honors. She attended law school at Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago, Illinois. Julie is licensed to practice law in both Illinois and Michigan, as well as in federal court for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She actively serves as a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Illinois State Bar Association.
