Joseph Treloar is an associate at Frommer Lawrence & Hauge LLP. Joseph also worked as part of a team of attorneys from various law firms across the country to draft model jury instructions for copyright law for an American Bar Association book entitled âÂÂModel Jury Instructions: Copyright, Trademark and Trade Dress LitigationâÂÂ, published May 2008. He is listed as a coauthor of the portion pertaining to copyright law.
JosephâÂÂs practice also encompasses various aspects of IP transactional work, including trademark licensing agreements and patent prosecution. JosephâÂÂs experience in the area of patent prosecution is extensive, including filing several appeals, to and conducing an oral hearing before, the USPTO Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences. Prior to joining Frommer Lawrence and Haug, Joseph was an associate at Reed Smith LLP for over 5 years.
Joseph received his JD from New York University School of Law. He also received a BS in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University School of Engineering. While there, Joseph conducted his James J. Slade Scholar thesis on 137Cs sorption in Savannah River Site soils.
