Ms. Tolston (f/k/a Ms. Schwartz) is a partner at Kriss & Feuerstein LLP and primarily concentrates on the firm's litigation and bankruptcy matters. Ms. Tolston has extensive experience representing clients in a broad variety of commercial litigation and bankruptcy-related litigation matters, specializing in corporate, real estate, lender liability, construction, insurance, landlord-tenant, bankruptcy, administrative agency and creditors rights, and commercial collection matters.
Ms. Tolston regularly represents banking and private equity clients in state and federal courts. Ms. Tolston also has extensive appellate experience, and has briefed and/or successfully argued several appeals before the First and Second Department Appellate Division. Ms. Tolston has developed particular expertise in counseling creditors in real estate foreclosure proceedings and successfully navigating such proceedings before state and federal courts.
