Bill Taylor is the president of the firm and its senior shareholder. He has been with the firm since 1971. He has a wide variety of experience in litigation, real estate, general business, construction and environmental law.
He is admitted to practice in South Dakota, before the U.S. District Court for the District of South Dakota, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, and most South Dakota tribal courts. Bill currently serves on the SD State Bar Natural Resources/Environmental Law Committee.

Bill is named in "Great Plains Super Lawyers" (published by Minnesota Law & Politics magazine) 2009 in the area of business litigation and the corporate counsel edition of "Super Lawyers" (published by Law & Politics magazine) 2008 also in the area of business litigation.
He is a former trustee of the McCrossan Foundation and the Nature Conservancy of the Dakotas. Bill was a board member of the South Dakota Board of Minerals and Environment, McCrossan Boys Ranch, Dakota Savings and Loan Association, Metropolitan Federal Bank and Ski Sioux Falls.
