A graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School, Beth went on to complete her undergraduate studies at Ohio University in Athens. After earning her bachelor’s degree in history and a minor in French, Beth attended the University of Akron School of Law, where she participated in Law Review and graduated in the top 15% of her class. Beth began her legal career with the law firm of Whalen & Compton Co., L.P.A., and for the last twenty years she has practiced in the area of education law, representing boards of education across the state of Ohio. Her primary focus has been the representation of school districts in proceedings before county boards of revision, the Ohio State Board of Tax Appeals, and Ohio courts, including the Supreme Court of Ohio. Beth has worked with a number of Ohio school districts to protect their tax base in property valuation proceedings. Beth brings this significant experience to Hoover Six & Associates, L.L.C., where she continues to represent Ohio schools in this very important practice area.
