David H. King is experienced in various litigation and transactional matters, ranging from police liability cases to land use and CEQA issues, In addition, Mr. King has experience working closely with governmental agencies, boards, and officials.
Prior to joining Alvarez-Glasman & Colvin in 2006 as a law clerk, Mr. King interned at the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office in the Neighborhood Council Advice Division.
Mr. King holds a J.D. from Loyola Law School. While in law school, was elected as the Editor-in-Chief of the Loyola of Los Angeles International & Comparative Law Review and was a published author. Mr. King volunteered at Loyola's Center For Conflict Resolution, helping to resolve disputes as a trained student mediator. Prior to law school, Mr. King attended the University of California, Los Angeles where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in Political Science.
Mr. King grew up in Ventura County, and became involved in local government by serving on his hometown's Parks & Recreation Commission as a student representative.
