Lucas Talarico is an attorney at Bellotti Law Group. He joined the firm in 2005 and concentrates his practice primarily in the areas of civil litigation and criminal defense.
Prior to his employment at Bellotti Law Group, Lucas began his career as a prosecutor in the Middlesex District Attorney's Office, where he supervised attorneys working in the Framingham District Court and oversaw the court's domestic violence prosecutions. In addition to his work as a supervisor, Lucas handled dozens of jury trials ranging from simple crimes such as drunk driving to far more complicated prosecutions, such as identity fraud, larceny, indecent assault and battery and stalking.
While in law school Lucas worked for the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office (Government Bureau Trial Division) and Hon. Reginald Lindsay in the United States District Court. While in law school he also worked at two Boston law firms that specialize in high-end tort litigation and business litigation, respectively.
Today, Lucas works closely with attorney Peter Bellotti on virtually every criminal case at the firm. His skills and recent tenure in the District Attorney's office enable him to quickly and aptly analyze and identify clients' problems and concerns, and help him to fight for his clients. He represents clients in both the District and Superior courts.
Lucas is a 2002 graduate of Northeastern University School of Law and a 1996 graduate of Colgate University. He has a background in journalism and worked as reporter and editor of a local weekly paper before attending law school. He lives in the Boston area.
