Mr. Khorana is a partner in the firm's Corporate and Transactional Department, and a member of the Technology Transactions and Licensing Practice Group. He joined the firm in 2010.

Practice

Mr. Khorana focuses on the representation of technology companies, from start-ups to Fortune 100 corporations, with particular emphasis on mobile/wireless, Internet, semiconductor, computer software and hardware and consumer electronics companies. Mr. Khorana represents clients in the structuring and negotiation of complex domestic and international technology transactions, including strategic alliances, joint ventures, and other collaboration and partnering arrangements, acquisitions and spin-offs, licensing, development and distribution arrangements, and settlements of intellectual property litigation. Additionally, he provides strategic counseling regarding all aspects of intellectual property and technology law, with a particular emphasis on issues related to open source software.

Mr. Khorana also regularly counsels Internet companies regarding business and revenue models and strategies, as well as issues related to content rights, privacy, security, e-commerce and other online issues.
