Kennedy, John J.

Tom has served as a member of the private panel of bankruptcy trustees for the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division, for over twenty years. Throughout his legal career he has specialized in handling complex bankruptcy and commercial matters, secured lending, foreclosure actions, compliance matters and corporate reorganizations.

Prior to serving as a bankruptcy trustee, Tom served as the Executive Vice President and Senior Loan Officer for Northern Trust Bank / O'Hare and the Vice President of Commercial Banking and Special Loans at LaSalle National Bank. Tom also previously served as a Staff Attorney for the First National Bank of Chicago.

Tom is a graduate of DePaul University where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree and his Juris Doctorate.
