Kelley, Walter D.

Ryan Stump represents clients in criminal defense matters and counsels clients on their estate planning needs. A North Carolina native, Mr. Stump received his B.A., graduating cum laude, from Campbell University and his J.D. from Campbell University's Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Stump clerked with both Roberts Law Group and with the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina. During his clerkship with the United States Attorney's Office, Mr. Stump worked with the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force ("OCDEFT"), where he focused on aiding the investigation and prosecution of federal drug and organized crime matters.

Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Stump took a position with First National Bank. At First National Bank, Mr. Stump served as both corporate counsel and as the estate planning attorney for the bank's high net worth client. Mr. Stump re-joined Roberts Law Group in 2012, realizing that his true passion is in criminal defense litigation and ensuring that his clients are zealously advocated for throughout their entire experience in the criminal justice court system.
