Jeanette C. Kassebaum is a solo practitioner with her office located in historic downtown Fishers, Indiana. As a long-time resident of the Fishers area and graduate of Hamilton Southeastern High School, Jeanette particularly enjoys assisting local citizens with issues in probate and estate administration, real estate transactions, estate planning, and municipal law.
After receiving her Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University in 1984, Jeanette was appointed to the Indiana Governor's Fellowship Program by the late Governor Robert D. Orr. After serving in various state government positions, including Assistant State Director of the Bicentennial Commission for the United States Constitution, she received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University at Indianapolis in 1991. Jeanette then came back to Hamilton County to serve as Law Clerk to the late Honorable Donald E. Foulke of the Hamilton Superior Court No. 1 from 1990-91, and then established her law practice in Fishers in early 1992. In 1993, she was appointed by the Honorable William Hughes as the first Master Commissioner for the Hamilton Superior Court No. 3.
Jeanette is an active member of the Fishers business community and formerly served on the Board of Directors of the Fishers Chamber of Commerce, where she also served as President and President-Elect. The Chamber honored her in 2001 with the Member of the Decade award. Jeanette has previously served as Chairman of the Hamilton County Election Board, Secretary of the Hamilton Southeastern Schools Foundation, the Historic Ambassador House Preservation Committee, and Hamilton County Redevelopment Authority. She is a member of the Hamilton County Bar Association (former Secretary), Indiana State Bar Association (former Section chair), and a Fellow of the Indiana Bar Foundation. Jeanette was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court in 2000.
