Michelle E. Kanter is an associate in the Litigation/Controversy Department. She joined the firm in 2008.
Past Experience
During law school, Ms. Kanter represented indigent clients in civil litigation as a student attorney with the Boston College Legal Assistance Bureau. In that capacity, she successfully secured child support and government benefits on behalf of low-income clients. Ms. Kanter was also a judicial intern in the chambers of the Honorable Reginald C. Lindsay for the United States District Court for Massachusetts.
Prior to her legal studies, Ms. Kanter worked as a political researcher. She previously interned for United States Senator Bill Nelson.
Community Involvement
Ms. Kanter is a violinist with the Washington Metropolitan Philharmonic Orchestra and a member of the Capitol Hill Chorale.
