Jason Kanter is employed in the New York office of Frommer Lawrence & Haug LLP.
Mr. Kanter has a technical background in the life sciences. He received his B.S. in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics at the University of California, Los Angeles. He then completed his M.S. in Biotechnology at Northwestern University, researching and developing adenoviral vectors for use as therapeutic drugs in the treatment of glioblastoma multiforme brain tumors. He received his J.D and graduated Cum Laude from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he was a founding member and Vice President of the Hastings Intellectual Property Association, as well as Executive Administrative Editor for the Hastings Science and Technology Law Journal. Mr. Kanter has received both CALI and Witkin awards in each of the following areas: Patent Prosecution, Patent Litigation, Food and Drug Law, and Client Counseling.
