Shareholder Burt M. Kahn, is the managing director of the law firm and a litigator in the firm's medical negligence group. Mr. Kahn has extensive experience in personal injury litigation, including the prosecution on behalf of victims of medical negligence cases, and serious motor vehicle accidents, as well as the defense of physicians in insurance excess cases, credentials challenges, and medical board licensing cases. In the past 25 years he has concentrated his practice in Forensic Medicine and complex personal injury..

Mr. Kahn has been a member of the firm from its inception in 1974 and became a partner in 1981. He attended law school at The Washington College of Law in Washington D.C. where he graduated as winner of the Gillette Prize for the highest scholastic average in his class.
