Kalani, Lori E.

Patrick is Of Counsel in the firm of Briggs and Morgan, Professional Association. He is based in our Minneapolis office and is a member of the Trade Regulation Section. Patrick practices principally in the areas of:

• Intellectual property litigation
• Antitrust law and trade regulation
• Commercial litigation

Patrick is currently involved in trademark litigation, focusing on protection of clients’ brand names.

He is a member of the Ramsey County, Minnesota State and American Bar associations, and a volunteer attorney in the Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services private bar involvement program. He also provides pro bono counsel to the Children’s Law Center. In addition, Patrick serves on the board of trustees for the Friends of the St. Paul Public Library.

Born in Ames, Iowa, Patrick received his B.A. from Iowa State University. He received his law degree with high distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law and was a member of the Iowa Law Review. He joined Briggs in 1989.
