Juergens, Stephen J.

Kelley A. Joseph was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1968.  She moved to South Florida in 1980 and graduated Nova Southeastern University, School of Law in the top 11% of her class.  Ms. Joseph won the Martin H. Feinreider Moot Court Competition while in law school  Previously, Ms. Joseph received her Bachelors of Arts in English, with a concentration in Technical Writing.

Ms. Joseph was admitted to the bar in 1994.  Almost immediately in February, 1995, Ms. Joseph began a sixteen year working relationship with E. Ross Zimmerman, Esq.  The firm concentrated in the areas of family law and criminal defense litigation.  Ms. Joseph became an equity partner at age 28, and stayed with the firm, subsequently known as Zimmerman, Joseph & Bayne until March 2011, when she decided it was time to branch out into her own law firm, so that she could provide the kind of quality representation and personal attention she believes each client is entitled to.

Law Offices of Kelley A. Joseph, formed March, 2011, is located in the heart of downtown Plantation, on South Pine Island Road.  Ms. Joseph sees the firm as a family, and each client is an active participant in their own litigation, while still having the comfort of knowing that the lawyer they hired will be the lawyer in court with them every time.

Ms. Joseph concentrates in all aspects of family law litigation and misdemeanor criminal defense.  Ms. Joseph is also a Supreme Court Certified Guardian Ad Litem, and has been asked by judges in over thirty cases throughout Dade and Broward County to provide the court with her recommendations on how to resolve child custody related issues.

I have been a practicing attorney in the State of Florida since 1994, with concentration in all aspects of family law, including, but not limited to: legal separation, dissolution of marriage, post judgment litigation, modification, contempt and enforcement, domestic violence, dependency, paternity, child custody parenting plans and parental responsibility/decision-making, alimony, child support, and equitable distribution. I also handle all types of criminal misdemeanors and non-violent felony offenders. I am a Supreme Court Certified Guardian Ad Litem, am a Parenting Coordinator and will be completing the training necessary to be a Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator in June, 2011.

I practice in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties, and have handled cases throughout the state over the years, as far North as Wauchula, Orlando, Tampa and Jacksonville. I have made special appearances, with permission of the court, to act as counsel in Kentucky and Michigan. I am also a member of the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle District of Florida.
