Orlando Juarez is a member of the firm's Litigation/Controversy and Securities Departments, and a member of the Investigations and Criminal Litigation, Business Trial and Securities Litigation and Enforcement Practice Groups.
Practice
Mr. Juarez has represented corporations, financial institutions, accounting firms, boards of directors and individual clients before state, federal district and appellate courts, as well as before self-regulatory and federal enforcement and regulatory agencies. Representative litigation matters have involved commercial disputes; allegations of securities and other financial fraud, insider trading, business torts, breaches of contract, intellectual property and trade secret infringement, financial reporting and disclosure improprieties, and noncompliance with audit and regulatory standards. He has also participated in internal investigations concerning allegations of noncompliance with securities and anti-corruption laws, insider trading and other misconduct.
Prior to and during law school, Mr. Juarez created Sherman Pickey, a retail clothing store that continues to flourish in Georgetown, Washington DC.

Mr. Juarez is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers’ Association and the Federal Bar Council.
Community Involvement
Mr. Juarez has served as the head coach of Georgetown University's undergraduate Mock Trial teams. During his tenure, those teams compiled personal, regional and national recognition as one of the country's elite Mock Trial programs. He also has participated in the firm's sponsorship of the St. Ignatius Junior High School Mock Trial Team.
