Joseph, Ronald E.

Growing up in the small Midwest town of Emmetsberg, Iowa, Kari knew she would eventually move to Colorado, where she enjoyed many childhood summers.

She attended the University of Iowa (go Hawkeyes!) where she was on the Dean's list and was a member of Alpha Delta Phi. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology.

Kari worked as a Social Worker for a non-profit organization that provided services to teen mothers. When she was ready to pursue her plan of helping people by becoming an attorney, she chose to attend Drake University Law School in Des Moines, IA. Drake appealed to her because their program focused on teaching graduates how to be a lawyer not just legal theory.

To continue her legal education Kari went on to attain her Master of Laws (LLM) at St. Louis University Law School.
She moved to Colorado and worked for two law firms as a pre-litigation case manager. She also worked briefly at a legal recruiting agency.

She was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 2011 and started a solo practice in May of 2011. In February of 2012 Benson & Case was honored to have her join the firm's litigation department.

Kari's practice area focus is on helping clients who have suffered a life-changing injury. She enjoys the medical aspect of these cases and looks forward to telling our clients story in the courtroom.
