Ronald Johnson concentrates on labor and employment litigation and related regulatory matters. Many of his clients are transportation companies, including Class I and regional and shortline railroads. Ronald also has worked with technology firms on issues related to unionized work forces and outsourcing of technology work as it relates to collective bargaining agreements.
While serving with the U.S. Senate Commerce Committee, Ronald worked on legislative matters involving railroads, motor carriers, and natural gas pipelines and producers.
Ronald has represented employers in federal court litigation and agency proceedings, including those before the Surface Transportation Board (formerly ICC), DOT, OSHA, the National Mediation Board, and the NLRB. He has argued dozens of federal appellate matters for railroads, including a case before the U.S. Supreme Court on behalf of the railroad industry.
