Perspective can be difficult to maintain during a lawsuit.  Matters involving civil litigation, divorce, custody, visitation and property division can involve strong emotions.  At this highly emotional time, clients need to have the confidence, security and knowledge to make crucial decisions about the future and feel as protected as possible.  I am a skilled professional and compassionate advocate who will work to explain the rights and obligations of my clients and protect their interests during difficult times.  I am tenacious but calm, analytical yet creative.  I merge these skills to help guide clients through whatever challenges they may face.

If a case can be settled amicably, I will work towards that goal.  If a settlement is unsuccessful, I will bring my years of experience as a litigator to pursue my client’s objectives at trial.

I enjoy hiking in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest, attending concerts, and reading for pleasure. These pastimes give me perspective which helps me stay well-grounded as an advocate for my clients.  My most important goal is to help my clients build a positive future.
