Jeremy Sosin's commercial real estate practice spans a wide range of matters, including the acquisition and sale of undeveloped and developed properties; development of retail, office, and mixed-use properties; financing and refinancing on behalf of lenders and borrowers; leasing on behalf of landlords and tenants; and corporate real estate services. Jeremy also has experience representing clients in commercial litigation, including analysis of real estate disputes.
Most recently, Jeremy led the Jones Day representation of Developers Diversified Realty Corporation and its subsidiaries as borrower's counsel in connection with both a $400 million loan secured by a portfolio of 28 properties across 19 states and as counsel to the sponsor of the depositor in connection with the subsequent TALF securitization — the first newly issued TALF-eligible loan to be securitized under the Federal Reserve's Term Asset-Backed Loan Facility (or TALF Program).
Jeremy is a member of the board of trustees of Youth Opportunities Unlimited, a Cleveland-based organization that empowers youth to succeed in schools, in the workplace, and in life.
