Rick Jaklitsch has been honored for the 17th consecutive year by Martindale-Hubbell as one of the top one percent (1%) of Personal Injury Trial Lawyers in the entire country, and was selected again in 2012 by the American Trial Lawyers Association as one the Top 100 Trial Lawyers. Rick was also honored by Who’s Who in American Law, has a perfect 10.0 “Superb” rating again this year from Avvo.com, an online lawyer rating service, was named as one of the “Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Maryland”, was featured in Baltimore Magazine as one of the “Top Attorneys in Maryland”, was selected by “Super Lawyers” as a “Top Lawyer” in both Washington, D.C. and Maryland.
Rick is a member of the Ten Million Dollar Advocated Forum, called the “most prestigious group of Trial Lawyers in United States” and as one of “Top Trial Lawyers in America”. Rick served for many years on the Maryland’s State Bar Association’s Judicial Selection Committee and is a Fellow of the Maryland Bar Foundation. He was appointed by Maryland’s Governor to the Judicial Nominating Commission, and worked for many years on the Board of Directors of the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association.
Rick is an Honors Graduate from the University of Maryland School of Law, and earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Maryland. He is Past-President of the Terrapin Club and was selected by Maryland’s Head Football Coach this year to serve as President of the Maryland Gridiron Network. He co-hosts the popular radio show “Terp Talk” which is heard every Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m., on AM 1580, “The Big Talker”.
