Cris Jackson has been with the firm for 10 years, and his areas of practice include real estate transactions and related matters, title insurance, creditor rights including volume foreclosure and bankruptcy and civil litigation (25% of practice). He graduated from Jesuit High School in New Orleans and Loyola University (New Orleans) where he earned his B.A. in 1988 and J.D. in 1991.
He is admitted to practice in the Louisiana State Courts, all Federal District Courts and the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal. He is a member of the New Orleans and Louisiana State Bar Associations.
Mr. Jackson devotes substantial time to financing and refinancing transactions, real estate transactions, business transactions and licensing, leases, landlord and tenant relations, land use, contracts, foreclosure and mortgage servicing and creditor bankruptcy. Mr. Jackson regularly lectures to various groups and their clients on home acquisitions and affordable housing practices. Mr. Jackson avidly enjoys coastal fishing in Louisiana's fertile bays, bayous and lakes and playing low handicap golf. He values his family life and participates in various civic, social and religious organizations.
