Matt is a shareholder in the firm of Briggs and Morgan, Professional Association. He is based in our Minneapolis office and is a member of the Business Litigation Section. Matt practices principally in the areas of:
Matt has been named a "Minnesota Rising Star" by Minnesota Law & Politics. He is a 2002 graduate of the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Saint Paul program.
Matt is admitted to practice in Minnesota, along with the U.S. District Court and the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals. Prior to joining Briggs, Matt was an associate with another law firm where he concentrated his practice in appellate practice, civil litigation and professional discipline.
Born in New York, New York, Matt received his B.A. from Saint Cloud State University and his law degree magna cum laude from Hamline University School of Law. He joined Briggs in 2000.
