Michael Sitrick practices in Best, Vanderlaan & Harrington's DuPage County office and concentrates in civil litigation. Specifically, his practice includes construction negligence, dram shop, insurance coverage, personal injury and premises liability, in addition to other areas.
Michael received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a minor in Music from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois, where he graduated magna cum laude. He received his Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he also earned a certificate in Trial Advocacy, received two CALI Awards, was recognized on the Dean's List multiple semesters, and was President of Loyola's chapter of the International Legal Fraternity Phi Delta Phi.
Prior to working at Best, Vanderlaan & Harrington, Michael was a law clerk for a mid-sized civil litigation firm in downtown Chicago. Before law school, he also worked for several years as the manager of development for The DuPage Community Foundation, a Wheaton-based not-for-profit organization.
Michael is presently a member of the Illinois Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association and its CBA Chorus, and the DuPage County Bar Association, for which he serves as the editor of its monthly magazine's Illinois Law Updates column.
