Hudson, John D.

Ms. Simmons is a senior associate in the Securities Department and a member of the Securities Litigation and Enforcement Practice Group. She joined the firm in 2006.

Practice

Ms. Simmons has represented individuals, public companies and financial institutions in civil, criminal and regulatory matters involving the Securities and Exchange Commission, Department of Justice and self-regulatory organizations.

Ms. Simmons recently completed a clerkship with The Honorable Julie E. Carnes, Chief Judge of the Northern District of Georgia. Prior to her clerkship, Ms. Simmons was an associate in WilmerHale's Palo Alto, California office.

Past Experience

During law school, Ms. Simmons was a summer associate at WilmerHale and interned with the Public Defender Services, both in Washington, DC. She also participated in Stanford's Capital Defense Clinic and Stanford's Three Strikes Project.

Prior to beginning her legal studies, Ms. Simmons taught English at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School in Maryland.
