Nicholas Holton obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Middle Tennessee State University in the summer of 2004. After acquiring his undergraduate degree, Nick obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Maine School of Law in 2008, and was admitted to practice later that year in the state of Maine and the beginning of 2009 in Tennessee. After graduating from law school, Nick worked in the Contracts & Licensing Department of Conde Nast Publications, one of the largest magazine publication companies in the world. In May of 2009, Nick returned to Nashville to begin practicing as a solo practitioner with the law firm of Rudy, Wood & Winstead, PLLC. In February of 2010, he joined Clark & Washington as a consumer bankruptcy attorney. In May of 2011, Nick left Clark & Washington to form the law firm of Coles & Holton, LLP, with his business partner, Josh Coles.
