ROBERT T. HOLLAND became a partner of the firm in 2000. Mr. Holland had been associated with the firm since 1991.
Mr. Holland handles a diverse range of real estate matters in both the Civil Court and Supreme Court. He has successfully litigated matters on behalf of landlords in residential holdover proceedings involving non-primary residence, illegal subletting, and other lease violations. He has also successfully defended landlords in proceedings where succession rights have been asserted as a defense to landlords' cases. Other experience at the Civil Court level include commercial holdover proceedings, as well as commercial and residential non-payment proceedings.
Mr. Holland also has extensive litigation experience in the Supreme Court, litigating mortgage foreclosure actions on behalf of lenders, a wide variety of cases on behalf of condominium and cooperative corporation boards, and general commercial litigation.
Mr. Holland also is involved in all aspects of real estate transactions involving the purchase and sale of single family dwellings, and cooperative and condominium apartments.
Mr. Holland is a graduate of New York Law School, is a member of the New York and Connecticut Bars, and is admitted to practice in the Southern District Court of New York.
