Joseph E. “Jeh” Hicks is a member of the Fredericksburg Area Bar Association and the Virginia State Bar, and a shareholder in the law firm of Jarrell Hicks & Waldman, PC located at Spotsylvania Courthouse, Virginia. As a life-long resident of the area, after graduating from James Monroe High School and James Madison University, Jeh earned his Law Degree at Sanford University, Cumberland School of Law, in Birmingham, Alabama, and was admitted to the Virginia Bar in 2001. He is extremely proud to follow his father, Ronald L. Hicks, in the practice of law, and his grandfather, Marion E. Hicks, in service to the people of Spotsylvania County and Central Virginia.
Jeh and his wife, Shannon, an officer in the Virginia Air National Guard, have one child. Jeh has been actively involved in many community organizations and served on a number of local Boards, including Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Fredericksburg Elks, Ducks Unlimited, the Virginia Elks Association and the Red Cross.
Jeh believes that all citizens deserve the opportunity to be diligently represented; and, he vigorously defends cases based on the facts and the law. His experience in all areas of the law provides him with the knowledge and understanding to provide his clients with the best experience possible.
